Once I was given a strange gift
When something stretches my belief system of what is possible I feel less ridgid. Once this happened with a strange gift from a dear family member.
The gift was positive energy.
Suspend the disbelief that that can be a gift. I had to pause, and eventually led with, “Tell me more.”
There is a company called Focused Life-Force Energy, FLFE, https://www.flfe.net/ that allows you to send a positive energy to your home, billed as a sort of protective bubble. I was offered to try the free trial and if I felt any noticeable positive change, then I could ask the giver to extend it for a year.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.
Albert Einstein
This gift came at a time in my life where my whole family needed to feel more – more love, calm, peace, and joy.
So I said why not and signed up for the FLFE. Then I sort of forgot about it. Life was busy. But, there was a feature that allowed me to make it stronger for a bit each day, and I had set this for the afternoon. I can still remember feeling unusally calm and relaxed at those times. I noticed that my home felt better in general. I felt more in-sync with the world.
So we signed up for the year. The whole house got the positive juice. I longed to subscribe to turn my cell phone into a FLFE hotspot that travels with you, which is also a service that they offer.
“A wonderful gift may not be wrapped as you expect.”
― Jonathan Lockwood Huie
The only downside is that the service is costly. I appreciate that those that sign up also get to donate the service to a place of need. However, if it were more in reach, those suffering most could access it. And the global impact could be bigger. An aside is that anyone can sign up for the free trial. It used to be for a month, but now it is for half a month. Still, it is something, and I like it.
In my life, trying something you can only sense is a bit like taking a leap of faith. Then having it show up for you at your door. I think that this is an excellent gift for a person or family who is rebuilding their lives.
That willing suspension of disbelief for the moment, which constitutes poetic faith.
