Getting ready to go out

Coming up I will cross paths with a certain gentleman. My flirting game plan has me thinking about my “pre-game” needs. Admittedly the pre-game is a bit rusty. In order to look, and most importantly feel my best, a little planning goes a long way towards running the play for a touchdown.

Jetting to Hawaii to get a natural tan and working with a personal trainer are not viable options at present. But man they sound pretty great. However, there are some local and less expensive options.

The fit – I am in need of cocktail attire for said event. I’ve got some time to find the right look. Then the right shoes. And it is true, beautiful lingerie does add to confidence and inner sex appeal. For my vibe and fit I’m channeling Elizabeth Taylor meets Bond girl of the 70’s.

The perfect opener – I’ll admit, I have googled “how to start a conversation with a stranger.” Ironically, I have no problem with this most of the time. Beside needing to make eye contact with a friendly and open manner, some tips encourage giving the person a (sincere) compliment or asking open ended questions (I heard about your trip to Rome, how was it?).

Sexy State of Mind – In order to be happy and attractive I need to actually be happy and attractive. I’m journaling along with meditation to calm and encourage my inner state. I’m also cultivating humor for lightheartedness. I’m letting a more playful and flirty side out.

Beauty – For hair and makeup planning pays off. In my upcoming hair appointment I will consult for a hair style that shows off my waves and is a little more fancy than my everyday ‘do. For makeup, my go to’s are enhanced with a facial, as it brightens my skin. An eyebrow wax is also a winner for a bold brow. (And waxing other parts can happen at the same time…)

Be the Hottie You Want to Attract – Negativity, heaviness, long pauses, nothing to say, major awkwardness…I don’t particularly enjoy those things. I like authenticity, candor, and humor. So that is what I want to bring to others. Like attracts like.
