Some highlights include a dark and glamorous kitchen, a gold four poster bed, and a garden that would make you want to stay up late with friends.

A visit to Barnes design house reveals years of work and many different glamorous designs. She is no minimalist, rather she uses accents and items such as silk chandeliers and antiques for a pleasing, inviting, and inspiring interior.

I think that the ideal space must contain elements of magic, serenity, sorcery, and mystery.

Felix-Ashman design is a more subtle, understated glamour that draws on neutrals and a paired down aesthetic. The use of textures like velvet, lighting, and other materials brings in the glamour. They do a beautiful take on the modern kitchen that still evokes warmth and the invitation to actually cook. A glamorous winter lodge is the stuff of dreams.

As I dream about my future, which I hope will include my own home, I look to draw on glamour much like Barnes and Felix-Ashman. Picturing the lifestyle that I want for myself and my children is exciting. The Inspo is another piece of the puzzle.
