What is one thing I would change about myself? My willingness to take risks and stop being a rule follower.

Back to a proper introduction. First, thank you. For your time. Thank you for joining me. Secondly, I want to introduce myself, but also stay anonymous. I wonder if that will be possible. One thing about me is that I am a private person, yet, I also want to share my voice, my experience, and my learnings. A key learning I discovered this year was about the power of vulnerability and that in order to have relationship, there has to be vulnerability. This is vulnerable.

Facts. I am a cisgendered woman, who’s preferred pronouns are she/her. I am a mother of two children. I am a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece. I am separated (not divorced because I never married). I am educated and hold a master’s degree and various other trainings in my field. I am middle aged, in my forties, if using 80 as a typical life span to define middle age. I am American, and live in California. I have some experience in journalism, but am new to the blog format. I am finding my way back to me.

Another fact. I am not a psychologist, therapist, expert, doctor, or any such trained professional. I will only be speaking to my own experiences and learnings.
